Construction of the Gallia Freight Station for the Ohio Department of Transportation. Question Deadline 06/11/2026 The Bidder is responsible for prompt delivery of the RFI. This is a Freight Train Museum consisting of train car refurbishment. Cosmetic restoration of the following rolling stock: Ringling Brothers Circus Car (includes HVAC installation and conversion of half of the car to exhibit/educational space), Southern Railway Caboose, B&O Box Car, B&O Wagon top Caboose, 2 Porter fireless locomotives. Install 12 security cameras with associated wiring. Install fire sprinkler system in building. WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS Site - Remove/repair/replace various existing site amenities and structures. Site - Install concrete sidewalk. Site - Install brick pavers. Structure - Move two rail cars to the site. No additional work to these cars. Structure - Renovate the exterior of two existing cabooses and one existing box car. Architecture - Renovate the exterior and build out the interior of an existing passenger car. Architecture - Construct a ramp and a stair at the passenger car, and ramps at the cabooses. Fire Protection - Install fire suppression and fire alarm systems at the existing museum.
