Asbestos abatement and renovation of a multi-residential development in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a two-story above grade multi-residential development.
Project consists of flooring replacement and related work including asbestos abatement and fire door replacements at Hillside Court 1. Bonds: 5% Bid Bond. Question Deadline 06/05/2026 at 12:00 PM ET All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online Goals for minority participation 18% Goals for female participation 6.9% The Contractor shall furnish and install all labor, materials and equipment necessary for: a. Removal and disposal of existing doors and door hardware. b. Removal and disposal of existing vinyl wall base. c. Removal and disposal of existing resilient flooring and accessories. d. Selective removal and disposal of existing wood trim. e. Selective repair and replacement of existing plywood subfloor in accordance with the Unit Prices Schedule. f. Fastening and stabilization of existing loose or squeaky plywood subfloor. g. New plywood floor underlayment. h. New luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring. i. New carpet tile flooring. j. New wood wall base. k. New 90-minute fire-rated doors and associated door hardware. l. Preparation and modification of existing hollow metal door frames as required to receive new doors. m. Patching and matching of all surfaces disturbed by the Work. n. Touch-up painting of all surfaces disturbed by the Work. 2. Doors shall be fully operational at the end of each work day. 3. Corridors and stairs shall remain accessible to tenants at the end of each work day. 4. Contractor shall ensure corridors and stairs are safe and suitable for tenant use at the end of each work day. 5. Work shall be performed in an occupied building. Contractor shall maintain a high level of safety, coordination, and protection of occupants at all times.
