Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Auburn, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

Remove and replace the bituminous concrete basketball courts approximately 100' x 120' (see sketch attached). Bidder shall provide all labor, materials, supervision and equipment to resurface a basketball court at Lemansky Park located at 403 Oxford St N, Auburn, MA 01501. B. General Scope of Work: a. Install erosion controls in compliance with State requirements. b. Remove existing basketball court material and dispose of at an approved asphalt recycling facility. c. Scarify existing subbase, install and compact processed gravel as necessary to adjust grades. d. Install and compact HMA dense binder course (1-1/2") and HMA 3/8" top course (1-1/2"). e. Install textured acrylic color surfacing and line painting for basketball courts (see Section 2). f. Final restoration to disturbed areas shall consist of 4" of loam and seed. g. Contractor shall protect the existing chain link fence post foundations. The existing chain link fence will be taken down and protected (by others) prior to construction. Any damage to the existing fence or its foundations shall be repaired by the contractor at no additional cost to the Owner. h. Contractor shall protect and retain the existing hoops, backboards, and uprights. Any damage components shall be repaired by the contractor at no additional cost to the Owner. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000.
