Contractor Qualification Highway Division Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. This is a corrected version of an ad placed on 4/29/2026 for this Mill and Overlay project. This advertisement corrects the description of limits on each street. In accordance with M.G.L. c. 30, 39M, it is the intention of the Town of Franklin to retain the services of a construction firm for the purposes of constructing approximately 11,500 ft. of roadway milling and paving along Pond Street (#38 to #398), Hilltop Road (Pond Street to past #8), Cottage Street, Peck Street, and Summer Street (King Street to Crocker Avenue) within the Town of Franklin. Bidders must be pre-qualified with MassDOT for Pavement Surfacing for the amount of the Estimated Construction Cost indicated below. The work to be performed will include milling 2" of existing asphalt and repaving with 2" of hot mix asphalt top course, and constructing and repairing concrete pedestrian ramps, with other incidental work as required. Work under this Contract shall be paid for at the contract unit bid prices, which shall constitute full compensation for all material, labor, equipment, etc., required to satisfactorily complete the work.
