Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The upgrades include, but are not limited to: 1. Louvers: Provide wind protection as shown in the Drawings and Specifications. 2. Doors and Windows: a. Above the Design Flood Elevation: Replace with wind-resistant doors and windows as shown in the Drawings and Specifications. b. Below Design Flood Elevation: Combination of flood-resistant doors and windows, wind-resistant doors and windows, flood gates, and wind protection shutters as shown in the Drawings and Specifications. 3. Pump Discharge Check/Control Valves: Provide redundant hydro-pneumatic power system and ancillaries for valve actuation as shown in the Drawings and Specifications. 4. Odor Control System: a. Provide bypass ducting to allow for connection of a temporary odor control system (by others) as shown in the Drawings and Specifications. Bypass provides isolation of the existing odor control system to allow maintenance/repair work to occur. b. Provide flood protection to electrical panels as shown in the Drawings and Specifications. 5. HVAC: a. Replace the cooling tower, install in an elevated platform, and provide wind protection panels as shown in the Drawings and Specifications. b. Replace exhaust fans as shown in the Drawings and Specifications. 6. Other work shown on the plans and specifications to provide a complete work, including but not limited to demolition, removal, and refurbishment of existing features as shown in the Drawings and Specifications. C. The Project also includes work to make Pump Station No. 2 more aesthetically pleasing.
