Site work and paving for a road / highway in Walker, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project is for the chip seal and striping of 1.4 miles of rural residential roadway and additional striping of another 2.5 miles of rural residential roadway. Work includes but is not limited to chip sealing, traffic marking, and associated traffic control. All bids must be in accordance with the Bidding Documents. Bidders shall submit a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of their Bid with their Bid, or a certified check in that amount. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond guaranteeing faithful performance and payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract. Shingobee Township reserves the right to waive any and all irregularities and to reject any or all quotes as they deem to be in their best interest. No Bid may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days after the date fixed for opening quotes. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Contact information and submittal procedures for such questions are as follows: A. Questions must be submitted to Michael McFarlane of IMEG Consultants Corp. at 218-444- 4860. 7.03 Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered plan holders. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
