Norfolk Public Schools (NPS) is a large urban school division in the Norfolk Public School district. The division enrolls a racially and economically diverse population of approximately 30,000 total students supported by a staff of more than 4,600 employees in 52 facilities. The educational philosophy of the division is based on the belief that all children can achieve at high levels and that it is the responsibility of the staff and community to ensure that each child reaches his or her highest potential. This procurement supports safe removal of portable classroom structures. Removal and Siposal of Driving - Chilling Tower and a Dust Collection System 1. PURPOSE Provide removal and disposal services and full site restoration. Work will be conducted at Booker T. Washington High School located at 1111 Park Avenue Norfolk Virginia 23504. Contractor will legally remove and dispose of (1) Driving Tower, (1) Chilling Tower and (1) Dust Collection System. 2. SCOPE - Removal and disposal of structures - Removal of foundations and appurtenances - Debris removal and disposal - Site restoration PRE-BID CONFERENCE ON/SITE VISIT: N/A
