See Attachment 1 Specifications for full details of services required for the USDA-NRCS West Virginia - Ohio County EWP 5090-001 and 003 Streambank Stabilization project at Dixon and McGraw's Run. The work consists of clearing designated areas through the removal and disposal of trees, logs, stumps, shrubs, brush, rubbish, and other obstructions, and shaping the stream channel as required by the drawings and specifications. The project includes installing measures and performing work necessary to control erosion and minimize the production of sediment and other pollutants to water and air resulting from construction activities. Work also includes preparing areas for treatment by furnishing and placing seed, sprigs, mulch, fertilizer, inoculant, lime, and other soil amendments, and anchoring mulch in designated areas in accordance with the specifications. The contractor shall provide all mobilization and demobilization of personnel, equipment, and materials necessary to perform the required work. Traffic control shall be established and maintained to ensure the safe and convenient use of public roads and rights-of-way throughout construction. The work further requires removal and management of surface water and groundwater as necessary to perform construction activities in accordance with the specifications, including constructing, installing, maintaining, and later removing temporary water containment facilities, channels, diversions, pumps, piping, and related equipment. Excavation required by the drawings and specifications, disposal of excavated materials, and construction of earth embankments, earthfills, and earth backfills are also included as part of the scope of work. The estimated total value of this project is between $200,000.00 and $250,000.00. The Contractor shall begin performance within 7 calendar days and complete it within 34 calendar days. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
