Renovation of a restaurant in Des Plaines, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a restaurant.
Building core and shell restaurant package for 678 Lee Street. The City of Des Plaines is pursuing a full building restoration of the existing 100-year-old Des Plaines Bank, including new windows, basement waterproofing, new egress stairs, new roof and associated structure, interior restoration of historic plaster, and overall energy and baseline code compliance for MEP, Structural, Fire Protection systems and life safety. The project consists of approximately 20,630 SF total over 3 occupiable levels. This project is intended to provide a "warm vanilla shell" for the restaurant build-out with project scope extending to stub outs for restaurant scope. Exterior marble veneer repairs and structural stability will be handled under a separate contract, however be completed during the same timeframe. The Work shall be performed at the following Work Site: 678 Lee St., Des Plaines, IL 60016 Award is subject to final approval.
