Site work and paving for a road / highway in Royersford, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The work comprises the Spruce Street Restoration CDBG Project, which includes approximately 5,225 square yards of 1.5-inch milling, 480 tons of overlay, 7 tons of base repair, line striping, and the installation of four ADA-compliant ramps at the intersection of 5th Avenue and Spruce Street. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, bank draft, negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent of the total bid. The successful bidder is required to provide satisfactory performance, payment, and labor and materialmen’s bonds. The project is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. Minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the contract documents must be paid, and nondiscrimination in employment must be ensured. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informalities or irregularities. Prior to contract award, bids may be held for up to sixty days for review and investigation of bidder qualifications.
