Renovation of a medical facility in Centralia, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Replace roofing systems and tuckpoint facilitywide at the Warren G Murray Developmental Center, Centralia, Clinton County. MBE/WBE subcontracting and supplier goals apply. Project uses a Single-Prime (General) Project Delivery Method. A project labor agreement is applicable. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the prebid meeting. Work includes removing and replacing roofing and attendant accessories totaling approximately 325,000 square feet at six (6) of the cottage buildings (BQ001, BQ002, BQ003, BQ004, BQ006, BQ007) as well as the Administration, Community, Dietary, and Laundry buildings (BQ008, BQ009, BQ010, BQ011). The scope also includes structural work consisting of masonry tuckpointing of approximately 21,000 square feet of brickwork at the Laundry, Pump House, Mechanical, and Boiler House facilities (BQ011, BQ012, BQ013 and BQ014), infill of roof deck openings at small, curbed skylights to be removed at the Administration building (BQ008), and roof deck infill of two service porch roof areas at each of the six cottages to receive roof replacement. There will be minor Ventilating, Electrical, and Plumbing work required to complete the roofing and structural scope work, includes raising curb mounted mechanical equipment as necessary to accommodate an increased roof insulation thickness, and replacing, relocating or abandoning existing mechanical, electrical equipment, and roof drains within the service porch roof areas to be infilled at the cottages.
