The work involves supplying the materials, labor, equipment, permits, licenses, and miscellaneous supplies necessary and incidental to the tear off of the existing roofing system, existing substrate preparation, and installation of a new reinforced membrane adhered roofing system at the Wastewater Plant at West 17th Street, Centralia, Illinois. Bidders are instructed to read and fill out the bid forms completely, and the bid proposal shall be sealed and plainly marked on the outside of the envelope "Roofing Improvements For The WasteWater Plant Laboratory." Bids must be accompanied by a bid deposit of 5% of the total bid, in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond made payable to the "City of Centralia, Illinois." Interpretation of the bid documents will be made only by addendum duly issued. Anyone requesting an interpretation must do so at least five working days in advance of the bid opening. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept portions of the bid items that appear to be in the best interest of the City and within the approved roof repair budget. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
