Site work for a water / sewer project in Renovo, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project consists of potable water system improvements, including the replacement of approximately 300 linear feet of 6-inch water main, 104 linear feet of 8-inch water main, reconnection of 8 water service lines with new curb boxes, and installation of 1 fire hydrant assembly with asphalt base surface restoration. Sealed bids must be submitted in one original and two copies. Each bid must include a certified check or bank draft payable to the Western Clinton Municipal Authority, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and acceptable surety in an amount equal to 10% of the total bid. Bidders must include a fully completed Non-Collusion Affidavit. The contractor must meet specified goals for female and minority participation in the on-site construction workforce and is required to comply with federal Executive Orders 11625, 12138, and 12432, EPA regulations at 40 CFR Part 30, Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, Buy America, Build America Act requirements, and all requirements regarding Minority and Women Business Enterprises (MBE/WBE) and Section 3 business concerns. Documentary evidence of MBE/WBE and Section 3 business concerns contacted and commitments made must be submitted with the bid. Payment must be received prior to bid opening for contract document sets. The authority reserves the right to hold bids for up to 60 days for review and qualification purposes, to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, or negotiate contract amounts.
