Any forfeiture of the Bid Bond is limited to the face amount of the bond or the difference between the bid and the next low bid whichever is less. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment bonds and, in an amount, not less than 100% of the contract amount. Section 400.16 of the Prince William County Procurement Regulations, as amended, shall govern bid withdrawal. If a bid may be lawfully withdrawn under that section, written notice of withdrawal must be provided within two (2) business days after the date and time designated for bid opening. The Board of County Supervisors for the County of Prince William reserves the right to reject any or all bids in part or in its entirety and may waive any informalities and irregularities in bidding when deemed in the best interest of the County.
