The City is currently accepting proposals for the Dietz Elkhorn Road (East) Reconstruction and Water Line Project. The City of Fair Oaks Ranch is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors for the joint construction of the Dietz Elkhorn Road (East) Reconstruction Project and a new water main installation along the same corridor. The project includes reconstruction of Dietz Elkhorn Road (East) from Fair Oaks Parkway to FM 3351, a two-lane collector street with a length of approximately 1.1 miles. The roadway serves as a major corridor within the City and experiences significant daily traffic, including residential, school-related, and regional cut-through traffic. Portions of the roadway have deteriorated significantly and require reconstruction to improve roadway condition, drainage, traffic operations, and overall corridor safety. To avoid trenching through the reconstructed roadway in the future, the City is jointly bidding installation of approximately 4,565 linear feet of new 12-inch water main along the corridor. The water main is sized to support future service needs on the eastern side of the City. The selected contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to complete the project in accordance with the plans, specifications, and requirements contained in Exhibit A.
