Project scope entails the replacement, repair, and upgrade of exterior Domestic Water distribution, Sanitary Sewer, and Storm Piping systems at Western State Hospital. The project base bid entails the installation of a new domestic water loop along with new fire hydrants to replace the existing system. New laterals will be provided and tied into existing building service entrances outside each building in a phased manner to minimize water disruption. An add alternate will entail various repair, replacement, and lining of miscellaneous sanitary sewer mains, laterals, and manholes. A separate add alternate will entail the replacement and lining of various sections of storm water piping. All project scope is located on the property of a secure, acute care adult psychiatric facility.
