Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Hicksville, New York. Completed plans call civil work for a water / sewer project.
The purpose of this project is to replace existing 6-inch water main with approximately 1,100 LF of new 8" C.L.D.I. water main, including appropriate valving, hydrants, and water connections along West Cherry Street. This piping will include multiple domestic and fire services on West Cherry Street for proposed residential buildings. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Installation of new 8-inch C.L.D.I. pipe, valves, hydrants, and fittings. 2. Disinfection, pressure testing, and bacteriological testing. 3. Connections of new main to existing water system. 4. Installation of domestic water and fire services 5. Abandonment of existing water main and water services. 6. Road restoration. 7. Site Cleanup 8. Project closeout submittals.
