Site work and addition to a transportation facility in San Diego, California. Completed plans call for the addition of a 8,200-square-foot, one-story above grade transportation facility.

The Work includes an elevated, 1-story, 8,200 sf core and shell building addition at the concourse level of Terminal 2 East to accommodate the future expansion of the existing Lounge (by others). The addition will be built with fireproof-encapsulated steel members, a metal panel and curtainwall glazing exterior envelope, and a PVC roof matching the adjacent construction. A new open-air egress stair will also be constructed from the concourse to the apron level, and one existing adjacent open-air egress stair will be removed and replaced. Additional work includes pavement replacement at the apron level, restriping, and some signage. The Work further encompasses all necessary services and appurtenances to deliver an operable building shell, including sewer, grease line, water, electrical power, low-voltage technology (IT/Security), lighting, interior and exterior fire sprinklers, fire alarm, and rooftop mechanical systems. It is intended that the Work be completed in every respect under the Contract, and such items or details not mentioned above that are required by the Contract Documents shall be furnished, performed, placed, constructed, or installed by the Contractor.
