This contract provides for the construction of the City of Walla Walla, Washington - Pine Street TBD - 2nd Avenue to 9th Avenue project. Work includes approximately 2,300 linear feet of road reconstruction and utility replacement, striping, lighting, landscaping, construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of 9th Avenue and Pine Street, and other items. Bidders are notified that disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin. Minority and women-owned businesses are encouraged to bid. Sealed bids plainly marked "BID ENCLOSED - PINE STREET TBD - 2ND AVENUE TO 9TH AVENUE" must be submitted to the office of the City Clerk. Contractors are subject to all requirements related to Davis Bacon Wage Rates and/or State Prevailing Wage Rates, EEO, and Washington State Contracting Laws. The contract time for all work is one hundred and twenty (120) working days. Bidders must purchase the Contract Documents from QUESTCDN and submit a bid deposit equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount. Only properly executed bids on the form furnished by the City will be accepted. Award will be based on the total bid. The City Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or waive any defects therein.
