This contract involves constructing the initial phase for the restoration of Deer Island, specifically restoring the extension of the rock breakwater structure known as Katrina Key, approximately 12,000 feet, to soften the effects of normal wave erosion. This restoration includes placement of armor layer stone or bioengineered reef as the breakwater and associated geocomposite placement to return Katrina Key to near historical 1850s dimensions. Offerors are advised that all references to the FAR and DFARS pertain to the new Revolutionary FAR Overhaul, and it is incumbent upon the contractor to ensure their proposal complies accordingly. The scope of work requires the contractor and/or subcontractor(s) information system to process, store, or transmit Federal Contract Information (FCI) or Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), and compliance with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements is necessary. The Contractor shall have and maintain for the duration of this contract a current CMMC status at CMMC Level 1 (Self) or higher for all information systems used in performance of the contract. The cost of this work is estimated to be between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000.00.
