The York Street Phase III Project proposes comprehensive roadway and bridge improvements along approximately two miles of York Street between East 58th Avenue and East 74th Avenue (State Highway 224) in Adams County, Colorado. The scope includes widening and reconstructing the roadway to provide two travel lanes in each direction with a center turn lane, new turn lanes at intersections, a shared-use path on the east side, sidewalks on the west side, upgraded drainage and water quality facilities, lighting, curb ramps, and enhanced pedestrian crossings. The project also includes replacement of the Clear Creek bridge and the Union Pacific Railroad bridge over York Street, with the goal of improving safety, capacity, multimodal mobility, and stormwater management along a critical county corridor.
