Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Tukwila, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; and road / highway.
The Interurban Avenue S Overlay Project will include pavement overlay and corridor improvements from East Marginal Way S to S 143rd Street, a total distance of about 2.25 miles. Work shall include, but is not limited to: Fiber Reinforced Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) overlay; planing bituminous pavement; pavement repairs; upgrades or replacement of traffic detection systems within the grind and overlay limits; improvements to ADA ramps and pedestrian push buttons; driveway approach improvements; and work at 9 signalized and 10 unsignalized intersections. a bid proposal deposit in the form of a cash deposit, certified or cashier's check, postal money order, or surety bond made payable to the City of Tukwila in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, including sales tax; should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish satisfactory payment and performance bonds within the time stated in the specifications, the bid deposit or bond shall be forfeited to the City of Tukwila.
