Site work for a civil project in Tukwila, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This work consists of realignment and reconstruction of the Fort Dent levee, excavation and grading for habitat creation and bank stabilization, installation of boulder-ballasted large wood structures, demolition and reconstruction of the Green River Trail, erosion control, traffic control, and site restoration. Subcontracting opportunities include excavation, traffic control, TESC, fencing, debris removal, clearing and grubbing, landscaping, waterway scour protection and log structures, common excavation, and wet excavation. There is a 15% minimum requirement for King County Certified Small Contractors and Suppliers, and a 15% minimum apprentice utilization requirement.
