The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is accepting bids for Routing and Crack Sealing in the Butte Area. Bidders are required to log into eMACS to review the full requirements of the solicitation, submit any questions through the eMACS Q&A Board, and certify and submit their response once completed. Bidders must be registered with the Department of Labor and Industry prior to contract execution under sections 39-9-201 and 39-9-204, MCA. A contractor who is not registered cannot be awarded a contract for construction and the contract may be awarded to the next responsive contractor if timely registration is not completed. Bidders are required to provide their Contractor Registration number. Each bid or proposal of $150,000 or more must include a bid proposal security of 10% of the total bid amount, which must be uploaded and submitted with the bid submission. Failure to submit this security will result in automatic disqualification. Offerors must certify compliance with nondiscrimination against firearms entities or trade associations as referenced in 30-20-301, MCA. If the Offeror determines that these provisions do not apply, a statement detailing the basis must be submitted. Bidders must review and accept the State of Montana and MDT Terms and Conditions, as well as the IFB General Information. Any requested additions or exceptions to the Standard Terms and Conditions must be submitted to the procurement officer by the Q&A deadline. The State may address nonmaterial requests for exceptions with the lowest bidder during contract negotiation. All Q&A entries must be reviewed by bidders.
