Restoration services to reduce fire risk and intensity within enclosed seed orchards by cutting and mowing non-seed orchard tree vegetation and reducing the spread of undesirable vegetation. Work includes mowing all grass, forbs, woody vegetation smaller than 1/2 inch ground line diameter, and woody debris smaller than 1 inch in maximum diameter. Larger diameter shrubs and other obstacles such as rocks or steep slopes may be avoided. Services support plant materials collection, inventory, mapping, native seed and straw production, plant propagation, conifer and hardwood tree work, and climbing and seed collection, and are to be performed under a performance-based service acquisition as a BPA Call Order against existing multiple award schedule BPAs. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
