Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Carrollton, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Sealed proposals are requested for the renovation of football field lighting at Aliceville High School. Proposals must be delivered to Pickens County Schools. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the project site. The contract period is 60 calendar days, with every effort to complete prior to August 1. Bids must include a cashier's check or bid bond for at least five percent of the bid amount, not exceeding $10,000. Performance and payment bonds and insurance evidence are required at contract signing. Drawings and specifications can be examined at Robbins Engineering Co., LLC and obtained upon deposit. Bids must be submitted on forms provided by the Engineer. General contractors must be licensed under Alabama law and display their license number on the bid envelope. The owner may reject any or all proposals and waive technical errors if deemed in the owner's best interest. Instructions for obtaining and returning bid documents, as well as bidder qualifications and documentation, are specified.
