The project includes installation of 3 waterline, valves, precast concrete meter vault, meter, and connections to existing waterlines. Bidders must bid on all items of the contract. The whole work under this contract will be awarded as a single contract to the lowest responsible bidder. No bid may be withdrawn for at least sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, or Cashier's Check upon any solvent Bank or Trust Company, payable without reserve to the Oklahoma Ordnance Works Authority/MidAmerica Industrial Park, Pryor Creek, Oklahoma, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. BIDDER must purchase plans and specifications from Holloway, Updike and Bellen, Inc. either directly for paper plans and specifications or through their website for download. BIDDER must be on plan holders list at Holloway, Updike and Bellen, Inc. in order to submit a bid. The bonds required will be a Performance Bond, a Payment Bond, and a Maintenance Bond, each in the full amount of the contract. The Authority will not accept letters of credit in lieu of any bond required. The bidder must supply all the information required by the bid and proposal form including completion of affidavits or the bid will be considered incomplete and therefore rejected. The Authority may request of any bidder, before bid is considered for award, that a statement of facts as to previous experience, business and technical organization, financial resources, and plant available to be used in performing the contemplated work be submitted. Each bidder must have such information, together with a recent financial statement, available upon request. Contract to be awarded to low responsive responsible bidder. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bidding and the right to reject any and all bids according to the Oklahoma Competitive Bidding Act. Conditional bids shall not be accepted.
