Contract requires the contractor to remove sediment from a specified dredge prism as outlined in the plans and specifications for two rounds of maintenance dredging. Contractor will be required to provide water quality monitoring during operations and will be required to conform to all environmental permits issued for the project. The award will take into consideration the lowest total base bid price to provide the services specified along with qualifications and experience of the bidder and the Port's budget capability. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited. Bidders are required to obtain bid documents from the official online source as detailed and are recommended to register to receive notifications of addenda. Unregistered bidders are responsible for checking for updates.
