The scope of work includes earthwork, drainage, and erosion control; lighting/electrical including accent lighting, router, and security camera; monument base including structural concrete, rebar, and veneer items; concrete sidewalk and brick pavers; landscape and irrigation. Contractors are responsible for performing all work and furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials required by the specifications and referenced drawings. The contract duration is 150 calendar days. Instructions to bidders include: Bidding documents must be downloaded from the designated website, and bidders must register as plan holders. All notifications, addenda, and documents are provided only through the designated website. Bid documents must be purchased through the website and are non-refundable. Bid Bond Security/Guarantee of 5% of the total bid is required for contracts exceeding $25,000. A 100% Performance and Payment Bond is required. Licensing and certifications must be indicated on the exterior of the sealed bid envelope. Nonresident bidders must attach a copy of their resident state's current law regarding non-resident contractors. Bids may be withheld by the Owner for up to 45 days for review. Only bids issued to the bidder by the Engineer will be accepted. Compliance with Build America, Buy America Act and American Iron and Steel Requirements is required, if applicable.
