Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Seattle, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; and road / highway.
This project will resurface the northbound and southbound lanes of SR 99, from S 272nd St to SR 516, to extend the pavement service life and preserve the roadway. The project includes grinding and inlaying the roadway with 0.15' of hot mix asphalt (HMA), pavement repair, traffic loop replacement, striping and traffic control. In addition, the project has a non-motorized component. It will replace approximately 54 pedestrian curb ramps not meeting current ADA standards at 18 intersections. Agency: WSDOT - NW Length : 2.550 Begin Termini : MP 12.92 End Termini : MP 15.47 As of May 22, 2026, the project is in Conceptual status. Anticipated letting Year is 2027. WADOT - SR 99/S 272nd St to SR 516 Vicinity - Paving & ADA Compliance *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP).
