Fox Run Drainage Improvements Upper Gwynedd Township: Sealed bids are to be submitted online through the PennBid electronic procurement program. Bidders must provide Bid Security in an amount equal to 10% of the total amount bid. Bid Security may be provided in the form of a certified check or a bid bond issued by a Surety Company licensed in Pennsylvania. Upon award, the Successful Bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the awarded contract value, and upon completion, a 2-year Maintenance Bond in the amount of 100% of the final contract value. Bidders must comply with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of 1961 for projects of $25,000 or above for public work. Only the Successful Bidder will be responsible for payment of a fee to PennBid. The fee is 1/3% of the initial contract award amount for fixed fee contracts or 1/6% of the expected contract value for term contracts, with a minimum fee of $150.00 and a maximum fee of $6,000.00.
