Description: The Big Bend 2 border barrier project calls for construction of 30-foot-high steel bollard walls from Ruidosa, Texas, to near the Madera Canyon Campgrounds in Big Bend Ranch State Park. The work is part of a 175-mile border barrier program across Hudspeth, Jeff Davis, and Presidio counties. A $1.2 billion federal contract has been awarded to Fisher Sand and Gravel, with completion expected by 2027.
