Construction of an 8-unit T-Hangar at the Kentucky Dam State Park Airport. Bonds: 5% Bid Bond. Bid questions Must be emailed to kyates@hanson-inc.com by close of business on Friday, May 30th eneral Scope of Work: The scope of this project consists of furnishing, constructing, and erecting an 8-unit THangar and associated pavement. Associated work items include, but are not limited to, unclassified excavation, pavement removal, pavement marking, concrete footing foundations, T-Hangar building erection, utility connections, storm drainage structure and pipe installation, bituminous pavement, pavement markings, seeding, and incidental work. B. Funding: Federal, State, and Local C. Construction time will be increased from 90 calendar days to 120 calendar days. D. Project Time: Contract time is 120 Calendar days, liquidated damages apply. a. $500 plus engineer expenses / calendar day. E. Site Logistics: Work limits, airfield access, temporary haul routes, staging area, airfield pavement closures keep clean. F. Safety Plan: If not using plan in specs, present own plan for approval G. Prominent Items in plans: a. Concrete Foundation It shall be noted that no acrhitects or structural engineers seal is provided with these construction plans. The floor plan dimensions are minimum. The contractor selected will be required to produce the actual plans for the building itself, including a seal from an architect or professional structural engineer licensed in the state of Kentucky. b. The KY Dam State Park Airport property is owned by the State of Kentucky and leaed to the City of Calvert City. Any Building Inspection or Fire Marshal permitting must be submitted to the state inspector or marshal, not the local inspector / marshal. H. Method of Award. The low bidder will be the contractor with the lowest total bid based on the base bid and any all alternate bids the airport chooses to award. The airport intends to use all available funds for construction. The addition of Alternate A or Alternae B will be based on available funds.
