Site work and paving for a road / highway in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Road Reclamation Contract: Contractor to perform approximately 11,686 SY of full depth cement roadway reclamation; furnish and apply approximately 388 tons of Portland cement; furnish and apply approximately 1,054 tons of 9.5 mm asphalt wearing course; furnish 1 mix design. Roadway Seal Coat Contract: Furnish and apply approximately 3,277 SY of asphalt seal coat double application; furnish and apply approximately 3,277 SY of asphalt fog seal; and furnish and place approximately 3,277 SY of E-1 prime w/blotter. Walking Path / Trail Resurfacing Contract: Contractor to perform approximately 10,598 SY of walking path / trail surface milling; furnish and place approximately 638 tons of 9.5 mm asphalt paving material; perform approximately 7 tons of transverse crack repair. Performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract, as well as proof of worker's compensation insurance will be required from the lowest responsible bidder. All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be made upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Pennsylvania Prevailing wages apply to road reclamation and walking path resurfacing contract.
