This construction project renovates the interior of Building 112, a poured concrete building which was originally constructed in 1957. The work includes new finishes, replacement of the air conditioning system, upgrading the electrical system and low voltage communications equipment and constructing new offices. The space to be renovated is approximately 7,113 square feet between the first and second floors. The renovated space will function as an on site laundry for specialty products, such as patient lift harnesses and support services uniforms and as office space. The documents show the existing elevator being replaced, however the elevator car and equipment has been descoped from this project any will be installed by a separate project, however the new mechanical room and electrical upgrades to the new mechanical room are still part of this project. Located at the Northern Arizona VA Medical Center this project consists of the installation of a new HVAC system in Bld 112, new finishes, upgrade to the electrical system.
