Scope 2: Softball Field Seating and Viewing Area Improvements: This scope of work must be completed by July 22, 2026. Scope 3: Dog Park Conversion - Beach Volleyball Area: This scope of work must be completed by July 31, 2026. Provide all labour, supervision, materials, equipment, project management, transportation, permits, inspections, and associated services necessary to complete the following municipal recreation and accessibility improvement initiatives for the Town of Arnold's Cove: (1) Upgrades and redevelopment of the existing outdoor rink area, including reduction in footprint, resurfacing, installation of a basketball court and ball hockey area, development of an accessible corridor and seating, and creation of a community festival and event staging area utilizing repurposed rink boards; (2) Upgrades and accessibility improvements to the softball field backstop and viewing area, including installation of additional bleachers on concrete pads, removal of unsuitable materials, installation of accessible picnic tables, construction of a defined pedestrian walkway, drainage infrastructure improvements, and landscaping; (3) Conversion of the existing Dog Park into a Beach Volleyball Area, including removal of infrastructure as required, site preparation, installation of sand surfacing, volleyball infrastructure (including net and supplies), and associated landscaping and accessibility improvements. Ensure that all work is compliant with federal, provincial, and municipal regulations, codes, and bylaws. Contractors are responsible for obtaining all required permits, approvals, and inspections; implementing safety and environmental protection measures; and removal and lawful disposal of all materials and debris. Proposals must include detailed responses to all RFP requirements, cost breakdown for each scope, detailed project schedule, team structure, experience, methodology, proof of insurance, safety documentation, and three references for similar municipal infrastructure projects. Joint submissions and use of subcontractors are permitted if roles are clearly defined. Contractors and all engaged parties must adhere to the Town's Code of Conduct.
