This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the construction of the Town of Okotoks’ Raw Water Reservoir, which is a component of the larger Foothills Okotoks Regional Water (FORW) Project. The primary purpose of the work is to construct approximately 300,000 m3 of raw water storage open to the atmosphere. The project includes installation of a synthetic liner, underdrain and venting system, geocomposite, pump station intake screen and support structure, water main installation, gravel road construction, fencing, landscaping, and embankments considered a dam classified as ‘Significant’ under the Alberta Dam and Canal Safety Directive.
