A. Work under this section shall consist of providing all labor, equipment and materials for the construction of the cap subgrade. The area upon which the cover material is placed shall be known as the final cover material (cap) subgrade. The work of Formation of Cap Subgrade shall be performed up to this plane and shall include all clearing and grubbing, excavation, re-grading of existing material, forming of swales/ditches and filling to bring the existing grade to the grade shown on the plans or where directed by the Owner and in accordance with these specifications. B. Work under this section shall also include the clearing and grubbing, excavation and re-grading necessary to construct the stormwater detention basin shown on the plans. The Town seeks proposals from qualified solar developers to develop a solar photovoltaic system on Town-owned property at the Old Lyme Landfill. The base bid should be for a system with approximately 300 kW-ac nameplate capacity. Additionally, an alternate bid should be provided for maximizing the system size at the property, not exceeding 5,000 kW-ac in accordance with NRES Program rules. The project will participate in the Non-residential program (NRES Program) and utilize Virtual Net Metering for State, Agricultural, and Municipal beneficial accounts, administered by Eversource.
