Reference Number 0000425345 Duration: 1 year Option: 4 additional 1 year periods, not to exceed 5 years The Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC), through the Division of Clinical Services, requires comprehensive, fully compliant infectious medical waste collection, transportation, treatment, and disposal services. Services shall be provided across eighteen (18) state correctional facilities housing an aggregate population of approximately 15,000 offenders. Clinical capabilities at these locations range from basic day clinics to full-service infirmaries (including specialized units such as dialysis). The awarded offere(s) shall ensure an uninterrupted, legally compliant chain of custody for all medical waste categories, classifications, or profiles, as may be required, from the point of collection to final destruction.
