Reference Number 0000425520 Source ID PU.AG.USA.2548846.C22583301 Piggyback Contract No Contractors to furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, software support, customer coordination, testing, and incidentals necessary to upgrade the Town's existing Automated Meter Reading (AMR) system to a Badger Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system integrated with the Town's Badger BEACON platform and SPRINGBROOK utility billing system. The project includes the investigation, replacement, retrofit, installation, programming, testing, commissioning, and documentation of approximately 10,000 water meter assemblies and associated AMI components ranging in size from 3/4-inch to 6-inch, including residential, irrigation, commercial, and compound meter installations. Approximately 7,500 meters are located within occupied residential or commercial buildings requiring customer appointment scheduling and access coordination, while approximately 3,500 meters are located in exterior pits, vaults, or other outdoor installations. Work may include replacement of existing meter bodies, registers, meter setters or bases, cellular endpoints, wiring, vault components, fittings, and related appurtenances as required by field conditions and project specifications. The Contractor shall coordinate customer outreach and scheduling, maintain accurate installation and asset records, integrate all installed equipment into the Town's AMI communication and billing systems, minimize service interruptions, restore all disturbed property, and provide all testing, startup assistance, warranty services, training, and project closeout documentation necessary to deliver a complete and fully operational AMI metering system in accordance with all applicable manufacturer requirements, contract specifications, and federal, state, and local regulations.
