Site work, outdoor lighting and renovation of a museum in Newport, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum; for site work for a museum; and for outdoor lighting for a museum.

Scope of Work: The contractor shall furnish and install all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to retrofit two (2) existing entry doors with ADA-compliant automatic door systems at the Historic Tanner Center. All components shall be provided as complete, fully functional systems as specified, with no exclusions. Work shall include, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Automatic Door Operators Furnish and install one (1) left-hand automatic swinger opener with a 10-inch extension arm and one (1) right-hand automatic door opener with a 4-inch extension arm. Acceptable models include NABCO 8500 or GT710 or approved equal. Operators shall be mill finish swing door openers and fully operational upon installation. 2. ADA Push Button Systems Furnish and install two (2) ADA-compliant push buttons per door (four total), including all required components such as mounting boxes, transmitters, and receivers. i) The left-hand operator should include push buttons mounted on a bollard post. ii) The right-hand operator should include wall-mounted push buttons. 3. Bollard Post Installation Furnish and install one (1) push button bollard post for ADA activation device mounting associated with the left-hand door opener, including all required anchoring and installation. 4. Guide Rail Furnish and install one (1) guide rail measuring approximately 42" x 36", ASSA ABLOY or approved equal. 5. Electrical and System Integration Provide all wiring, connections, and system integration necessary for proper operation of the automatic door openers and push button activation systems. Ensure all transmitters and receivers are fully functional and properly synchronized. 6. Testing and Commissioning Test all installed systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with ADA requirements. Make all necessary adjustments for safe and reliable function. 7. Compliance All work shall comply with applicable ADA standards, manufacturer specifications, and all City of Newport building codes and regulations. 8. Site Verification and Cleanup Contractor shall verify all field conditions prior to installation and shall maintain a clean and safe work environment. All debris shall be removed upon completion of work.
