The Platte County Regional Sewer District (PCRSD, Owner ) is seeking proposals for electrical work at one wastewater pumping station site . The project includes replacement of one existing diesel engine - driven generator set , and associated conduit and wiring work . The project generally includes demolition and disposal of the existing generator set , installation of a new generator set , termination of power , status , and alarm wires , testing and commissioning . DESCRIPTION OF WORK Provide one automatic -start standby generator system that has been prototype tested , factory built , production tested , site tested , of the latest commercial design , together with all accessories necessary for a complete installation as shown on the Drawings and specified herein . The equipment supplied and installed shall meet the requirements of the National Electrical Code and all applicable local codes and regulations . All equipment shall be new, of current production by a firm , which manufactures the generator and controls , and assembles the standby generator sets as a matched unit so that there is one- source responsibility for warranty , parts and service through a local representative with factory trained service personnel . All software and service codes shall be non-proprietary and open-source, allowing full access by any maintenance provider , free of charge . Generator will be used with Owner's existing automatic transfer switch (ATS ), which is an ASCO Series 300 , rated 200A , 2 -pole . Contractor shall coordinate with the existing ATS to ensure compatibility and communications with the proposed generator set . A payment bond is required if the Contract Price is $ 25,000.00 or greater .
