Site work for a water / sewer project in Vina, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of constructing the Contract No. 2 County Highway 23 Water Line Upgrade Project – DWSRF Project No. FS010212-02 under one contract. The principal items of work include furnishing and installing approximately 6,000 linear feet of 6-inch Class 250 PVC water main, fire hydrants, miscellaneous valves, fittings, and accessories, and installing two new pressure management stations. Bidders are instructed that plans, specifications, and contract documents are available for inspection or may be obtained upon payment of a document fee. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, with no withdrawals allowed after the bid opening. The contractor must complete the work within 120 consecutive calendar days, and liquidated damages will be assessed for exceeding the contract time. Federal guidelines applicable to DWSRF funding must be met. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality, and accept any bid deemed advantageous.
