Site work for a mixed-use development in Brewton, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a detention facility; and water / sewer project.
The work will include Civil and Utilities work for the site identified for the construction of the new facility immediately behind Fountain Correctional Facility of a minimum of 185 acres as will be further defined in the Civil and Utilities Package. Pre-qualification Requirements: All interested Contractors MUST complete and submit a Confidentiality and Non-disclosure Statement to receive the pre-qualification documents. Only Contractors who have been approved to bid pursuant to the pre-qualification procedures and criteria established by Owner will be eligible to bid the project. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is mandatory for all Pre-qualified Contractor Bidders intending to submit a Bid. Bids from Pre-qualified Contractor Bidders who do not attend the Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be rejected. Pre-qualification Proposals shall be received on behalf of ACIFA c/o ADOC by Volkert Inc. Pre-qualification proposals shall be submitted electronically in PDF document format to brandon.miller@volkert.com and Hillary.morgan@gmcnetwork.com no later than 4:00 pm Central Time June 11, 2026.
