Sealed bids are invited for Valley Maintenance and Repair in Valley, Alabama. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to The Armory Commission of Alabama in an amount not less than five percent of the bid, but not more than $10,000 per project, with a Power of Attorney required. Performance and Payment bonds are required at contract signing. Entities must be registered to do business in Alabama, and any bids exceeding $100,000 require a license under Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975. Plans and specifications are available for inspection at the State Military Department and may be obtained from JMR+H Architecture with a $300 deposit per set, refundable upon return in good condition within ten days of the bid date. Only official plan holders who have received bid documents from JMR+H Architecture will be included on addenda distribution lists. Any other prospective bidders must notify JMR+H Architecture in writing of their intent to bid by the specified deadline. Attendance at a pre-bid conference is mandatory to submit a bid for this project.
