Description

Renovation of a swimming pool in Fort St. John, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.

The City is seeking a qualified and experienced Commercial Mechanical Contractor with expertise in commercial heating plant systems to assess the condition of the existing boiler plant and provide a complete solution for its replacement. The Work includes the evaluation, design development, supply, installation, and commissioning of a new boiler system to replace the existing end-of-life equipment, along with targeted upgrades as identified in this RFP. The proposed system shall be designed to meet or exceed the performance and capacity of the existing installation, incorporate appropriate redundancy, and integrate with the current facility systems with minimal modification. All work must comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements, and the resulting system shall be suitable for reliable operation, maintenance, and service within the region. The Work expected to be completed prior to the start of the 2026 heating season, within the designated window of September 7, 2026 to September 17, 2026, and commissioning completed between September 18, 2026 - September 20, 2026.
