Remodeling of a fire / police facility in Glendale Heights, Illinois. Completed plans call for the remodel of a fire / police facility.
The scope of work includes removal of existing ceramic tile flooring and replacement with polished concrete or approved equivalent finish, demolition and installation of a new kitchen island, removal and replacement of all existing countertops, replacement of existing sinks and faucets, replacement of existing cabinet closure hardware and repair of existing cabinet doors/drawers as needed, replacement of existing 2' x 4' drop ceiling tiles, and construction of a privacy wall in the bunk room area. The selected contractor is responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, warranties, construction, and installation services necessary to complete the project in accordance with the specifications. All work must comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Within ten days of notification of award, the successful contractor must furnish a Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to the owner. The Glenside Fire Protection District reserves the right to reject any or all bids received, to waive any formalities or technicalities of the bid, or to reject any non-responsive bid in the District's interest.
