Pinckney Community Schools will receive firm prime contractor bids for the labor, materials, equipment, and other services to complete the following project: Chiller Replacement at Lakeland Elementary located at 9501 Pettys Rd, Lakeland, MI 48143. This project will consist of one-for-one replacement of existing chiller. Bids will be accepted via PreconSuite for electronic bid submission. Hard copy sealed bids will also be accepted, but electronic submission is strongly encouraged. Proposal forms provided by the construction manager must be used. For hard copy bids, proposals must be in an opaque envelope identifying the company, the project name, and the proposal being bid. Bids over the State threshold of $31,321 must include a certified cashier’s check or a U.S. treasury listed security bond in the amount of 5% of the bid amount (no electronic scans accepted). All proposals must be firm for ninety (90) days. Each bid must include a sworn and notarized statement disclosing familial relationships, a sworn and notarized statement for the Iran Economic Sanctions Act Affidavit of Compliance, and an Equal Opportunity Statement. Bids may be rejected if these documents are not included. Successful bidders whose proposals are $50,000 or more must furnish a Satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of their bid, included in the proposal cost. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality, and accept the bid that is in the Owner's best interest, which may not be the lowest bid.
