The project consists of the one-for-one replacement of existing pneumatic tanks at Pathfinder/Navigator (2100 M-36, Pinckney, MI 48169) and High School Athletic Field (10255 Dexter-Pinckney Rd, MI 48169). Bidders are required to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and other services necessary to complete the pneumatic tank replacement at both locations. Bids must be submitted either electronically via PreconSuite or as hard copy sealed bids using the forms furnished by the Construction Manager. All proposal forms must be fully completed. Bids exceeding the State threshold of $31,321 must include a certified cashier’s check or a U.S. treasury listed security bond for 5% of the bid amount, with checks delivered prior to the bid due date and made payable to Howell Public Schools. Bids must also be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship between the bidder and any member of the Board of Education or the Superintendent, as well as sworn statements for the Iran Economic Sanctions Act Affidavit of Compliance and the Equal Opportunity Statement. Successful bidders with proposals of $50,000 or more must furnish a Satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of their bid, with the bond cost included in each proposal. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, waive informality, and accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Owner, regardless of the lowest financial bid.
