Site work for a water / sewer project in Everett, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work consists of the replacement of suspected lead water service connections throughout specified streets in the city. This includes approximately 26 full replacements from the water main to the house, 52 replacements from the water main to the curb stop, and 86 replacements from the curb stop to the house. There are also approximately 155 services with unknown lead status, which may require up to three test pits each and replacement if lead is confirmed or as directed by the City and Engineer. Up to 20 additional services may be required at the discretion of the City and Engineer. All services must be replaced with copper tubing of specified sizes. Restoration of pavements, sidewalks, curbing, and landscaping to equal or better than previous conditions is required. All work must comply with relevant Massachusetts laws and city requirements. Bidders must be MassDOT prequalified in Sewer & Water for a project value of $2,630,224 and meet all associated requirements. Only MassDOT prequalified contractors will be eligible for contract award.
